The Sean Anderson Foundation is enthused to share that we have been able to donate $10,000 to the Wayne State University (WSU) HIGH (Helping Individuals Go Higher) Program.
In the words of Myra Anderson, our executive director/president here at the foundation: “Supporting the HIGH Program has been one of the important goals of the foundation, and we are pleased to continue our commitment to the program. The HIGH Program offers critical support to students facing hardships, and is making a positive difference in their lives.”
In 2016, the Sean Anderson Foundation created a $25,000 endowment for the program, continuing support the following year with a $15,000 donation in 2017.
Founded in 2013 after Wayne State University’s first lady Jacqueline Wilson was made aware of a medical student living out of their car, the HIGH Program provides short-term assistance with a goal of returning students to long-term stability and helping them complete their degree.
