Thank you to everyone who attended the Sean Anderson Foundation’s 2nd Annual “Uplifting Our Youth Scholarship Fundraiser”. The event was a great success, while serving as a reminder that the work that the Sean Anderson Foundation does is not possible without the selfless support from donors like you.
To help low income graduates from the Detroit Public School System who are currently enrolled or have been accepted into an accredited University, in 2015, to kick off the Sean Anderson Foundation‘s Uplifting Our Youth Scholarship Fund, BIG SEAN donated a $25,000 scholarship to a Detroit resident. This year, “Eat, Drink and Be Giving” returned to the offices of Fratarcangeli Wealth Management (300 Park Street Suite 265, Birmingham, MI 48009), once again, giving 100% of the event’s proceeds the Uplifting Our Youth Scholarship Fund.
Highlights from the event included a special plague presentation from Myra Anderson to longtime Sean Anderson Foundation supporters Dr. David Brownstein and Allison Selko, in addition to a presentation by Mary Barden (Director of Philanthropy, Wayne State HIGH Program).
This fundraiser would not have been possible, without the help of so many, and the Sean Anderson Foundation wants to send special thanks to Jeff Fratarcangeli Wealth Management offices for hosting the event. Once again, your team did a tremendous job, and we thank every volunteer who gave their time, to make this event possible.
