The Sean Anderson Foundation has partnered with the Focus for Health Foundation to provide information and resources to the residents of Flint affected by the Flint Water Crisis; moreover, with the latest donations from the Focus for Health Foundation and Roc Nation Artist BOOTS, the #HEALFLINTSKIDS campaign has raised more than $73,000!
In its ongoing efforts to ensure the long-term health of Flint families affected by the 2014-2016 water crisis, the viral fundraiser to benefit the Community Foundation of Greater Flint’s (CFGF) “Flint Child Health & Development Fund” has been successful thanks to generous donations in the recent weeks from Roc Nation’s DJ Mustard, Cleveland Browns Wide Receiver Andrew Hawkins, Comedian Hannibal Buress, Focus For Health and BOOTS.
In a statement, Barry Segal, Founder of the Focus for Health Foundation and the Segal Family Foundation, expresses: “Focus for Health is proud to be involved with the Sean Anderson Foundation. What happened in Flint was obviously unfortunate, but it brings to everyone’s attention the inequities that exist in our country. Lead poisoning is only one example of the many social injustices that continue to occur. We are looking forward to working together with the Sean Anderson Foundation to help the citizens of Flint and the Community Foundation for Greater Flint.”
Donors who make a tax deductible pledge of $10 or more will receive a chance to win a pair of VIP tickets to a Big Sean U.S. concert in 2016 with meet and greet and photo opportunity. For full contest rules, click here.
The act of giving is never unnoticed, especially by the individuals directly touched by the gesture. No matter the size of the amount any given person is able to give, the donations received will be felt and appreciated for decades to come, as children and families in Flint receive the much-needed medical attention to address their health needs.
Each of us can #HealFlintsKids and prove that #OneManCanChangeTheWorld because no matter how great or small, today, #ItTakesOneDONATION to help the children of Flint.
The campaign will end on March 15th, with 5 (five) winners announced and notified within days of closing. To donate, visit http://crowdrise.com/bigsean or for more information visit http://seanandersonfoundation.org.

ABOUT FOCUS FOR HEALTH
Focus for Health is committed to decreasing the rising trend of both autism and chronic illness triggered by negative environmental influences. FFH believes that lack of transparency in both profit-driven corporations and governmental regulatory agencies have reduced the public’s capacity to make the informed, educated decisions necessary for optimal health. FFH supports all efforts which empower individuals to ask questions and do their research before making any decisions about which foods, products, or procedures they allow, especially for the “vulnerable child.”
